Stephanie Berent serves as Marketing Director for Blue River, where she is responsible for overseeing and executing all outbound firm marketing activities. She is also involved in business development and Blue River’s buy-side and sell-side practices.
Stephanie spent over 8 years working for Blue River in various roles, including deal origination, administration, and marketing, before moving to Grand Rapids to pursue a career in retail management with lululemon athletica. During her 3 years with lululemon, she managed a team of over 20 people, and was the stores Visual Merchandising Lead. She then returned to Blue River as the firms Marketing Coordinator, and since then has been promoted to Marketing Director.
Stephanie graduated from the Seidman College of Business at Grand Valley State University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing. Stephanie was a nominee and certificate recipient for “I Am Grand Valley”, a leadership award through the university.
While working on her degree, Stephanie completed Dale Carnegie Training, as both a student and later a graduate assistant. She is involved in several non-profit adoption organizations including Bethany Christian Services, where she speaks at education seminars and conferences around the state. Stephanie is also an active member of ACG Detroit and ACG NextGen, and serves on both the Marketing and NextGen committees.
