Mobeen Kambod is a Junior Associate at Blue River. He is a rising junior at the University of Michigan, studying Business with a second major in Biopsychology, Cognition, and Neuroscience.
Mobeen brings a wide array of skills to the Blue River team, that he has acquired through his previous experiences. Some of these experiences include creating and running two different startups, as well as conducting research at the Ross School of Business and the Wayne State University School of Medicine. In his research at Wayne State, Mobeen and his team developed the world's first algorithm to detect basal cell carcinoma, and their findings were published in the Institute of Electronics and Electrical Engineers.
Originally, Mobeen was planning on pursuing a career as a physician, however through his coursework and startup experience, he developed more of an interest in finance. He then decided that a career in investment banking fit his interests and passions more. He is currently involved in both Blue River’s buy-side and sell-side, working on a variety of different assignments.
Outside of work, Mobeen enjoys playing racquetball, rock climbing, and is currently on the pursuit of finding the best pizza in Michigan.
